Tell a Lefty Story

I want to hear stories from people about being left-handed. I'll offer one, to get us started.

I write left-handed. I eat left-handed. I do key maneuvers on my iPod touch with my left hand. I also shoot left-handed when playing basketball. But I throw a softball (poorly) and bowl (poorly) with my right hand--why? When I was in seventh grade and playing softball, I asked my older brother Bill if I should throw left-handed or right-handed. He advised using my right, so being an obedient little sister, I did. And it was no good. My throwing stinks, which led to equally awful bowling with a right hand. Hmm. Guess that's a downer story. But, there it is. It's my tale of how I compromised my left-handedness. I'm sure that I would be just as terrible at softball throwing and bowling with my left hand, but, there's always the possibility that I could have been a Hall of Famer. (Ha)
